The Conrader Bullwhip throttle control cable regulates engine speed on gas-powered air compressors. Paired with a pilot/unloader valve, it automatically throttles the engine down at cut-out pressure and returns it to full speed at cut-in — saving fuel and reducing engine wear. Built for 8–13 HP gas engines and made in the U.S.A.

How it works
When the compressor reaches cut-out pressure, the pilot valve sends a pneumatic signal to the throttle control, which extends to slow the engine. As air is used and pressure drops to cut-in, the signal releases and the control retracts, returning the engine to normal operating speed.
Typical applications
Gas-powered reciprocating air compressors on service trucks, contractor rigs, and stationary units that use an intake or head unloader to manage engine speed. Select the cable length that matches the routing distance between your unloader valve and engine throttle.
