Chicago Pneumatic COAIRE CSOF-S Oil-Less Scroll Air Compressor | 3-60 HP

The Chicago Pneumatic COAIRE CSOF-S is a 100% oil-less scroll air compressor for applications where even trace oil carryover is unacceptable. The scroll airend compresses air with no oil in the compression chamber, so there is no oil separator to replace, no oil changes, and no oil-contaminated condensate to dispose of. Single 3 and 5 HP units, tandem 8 and 10 HP units, and 15 to 60 HP multi-scroll arrays all share the same airend, so the entire range services the same way.

Why the CSOF-S

• Genuinely oil-free air. Oil-less scroll compression rated ISO 8573-1 Class 0 for oil content, with a suction filter system that eliminates up to 99.9% of airborne dust.
• Quiet enough for the production floor. 49 dBA on the 3 HP through 65 dBA on the 50 HP.
• Multi-scroll capacity control. The 8 HP and larger packages stage individual scroll modules on and off to match demand, so part-load power draw follows actual air consumption instead of running one large motor at full load.
• Low starting current. Sequential start on the multi-module packages keeps inrush down and avoids the electrical service upsizing a single large motor would demand.
• Stable cooling to 120°F ambient from a heavy-duty Scirocco cooling fan and a corrugated high-performance aftercooler.
• Full controller on every model. Tandem operation, time shifting and emergency bypass, programmable timer with automatic and manual pause, alarm and shutdown on pressure and on high or low temperature, hour meter with maintenance cycle tracking, sensor self-diagnostics, and a multilingual interface. 3 to 10 HP use the multifunction controller, 15 to 40 HP the 5 inch Micom LCD controller, and 50 HP the 6 inch touch screen with multi-phase control of every compressor in the package.
• Serviceable from every side with removable panels. An optional wheel kit is available on the 3 and 5 HP for portable use.
• Array control up to 10 units. Multiple CSOF-S packages run under one multi-control system with rotational control, emergency bypass, and daily or weekly scheduling.

Performance Data

Air receiver tank is not included with the CSOF-S. Suitable filtration and an air dryer must be added to meet ISO 8573-1 Class 0 across all contaminant classes. Give us a call and we will size a tank, dryer and filter package to match.
