This air/oil separator is supplied as an equivalent replacement for Chicopee Engineering part number CEA619B, listed under Air Supply Number KV280-001. It is intended as a direct service part for operators maintaining lubricated rotary screw equipment.
Inside the separator housing, the element does the work of pulling oil mist back out of the discharge air so the lubricant returns to the sump rather than travelling downstream. Left in service too long, the media blinds off, pressure drop rises, and oil carryover starts showing up in filters, hoses and finished work.
