The Chicago Pneumatic CP 0030 is an air-operated diaphragm pump built for the dirtiest, thickest and most abrasive fluids on construction, mining and industrial sites. It runs on jobsite compressed air, so there is no motor to burn out and no electrical hazard in a flooded excavation, and it will pass slurry, sand and debris that would stall a centrifugal sump pump.

Where it fits against the CP sump pumps
The CP 0010 and CP 0020 are submersible centrifugal sump pumps for clean to moderately dirty water at high volume. The CP 0030 diaphragm pump moves less volume but handles mud, slurry, sludge and abrasive solids, and it self primes and runs dry without damage. Pick the 0030 when the fluid is thick or full of solids; pick a 0010 or 0020 when you need to move a lot of water fast.
