The nano CDP Critical Dew Point Heatless Desiccant Air Dryer delivers ultra-dry compressed air with a pressure dew point as low as -100°F (standard -94°F pdp, ISO 8573-1 water class 1). This twin tower heatless design uses activated alumina and requires no heater or electricity for regeneration, making it the go-to solution wherever moisture simply cannot be tolerated: pharmaceutical manufacturing, electronics, laboratories and other critical-air applications. Every CDP ships complete with mounted nano pre-filters and after-filters to protect the desiccant and lock in air quality.
How a heatless desiccant dryer works
- Wet compressed air enters the online tower and flows up through a bed of activated alumina desiccant, which adsorbs water vapor and produces ultra-dry air.
- A small portion of the dried air is diverted as purge to regenerate the offline tower at atmospheric pressure, stripping moisture from the desiccant.
- The towers alternate on a fixed cycle, so one tower is always drying while the other regenerates, giving continuous ultra-dry output.
- Mounted pre-filtration removes bulk liquid and aerosols upstream, while after-filtration captures desiccant fines downstream.
How to select your dryer
Size the CDP by your compressed air flow at your operating conditions. Rated flows are stated at 100 psig inlet; capacity must be corrected for lower pressures, higher inlet temperatures and elevation. Match your peak system flow to the model rating, confirm the inlet and outlet connection size, and verify your compressed air is pre-cooled and drained ahead of the dryer.

Frequently asked questions
What dew point does the CDP achieve?
The CDP delivers a pressure dew point as low as -100°F, with a standard rating of -94°F pdp, meeting ISO 8573-1 water class 1 for critical, ultra-dry applications.
Does it need a heater or electricity?
No heater is required. This is a heatless (pressure-swing) dryer that regenerates using a small purge of dried air. Only the control circuit uses a 115V supply.
Are filters included?
Yes. Every CDP ships with mounted nano pre-filters and after-filters sized to the model, so the desiccant is protected and downstream air quality is maintained.
How do I size the right model?
Match your peak compressed air flow to the model's rated flow at your actual operating pressure and inlet temperature, then confirm the connection size. Ratings shown are at 100 psig; lower pressure or higher temperature reduces capacity.
Is the CDP suitable for pharmaceutical or lab use?
Yes. Its ultra-low dew point, ASME vessels and USA construction make it well suited to pharmaceutical, electronics and laboratory environments that demand consistently dry, clean air.
