This equivalent element replaces Busch mist eliminator part number 532.216.00. Mist eliminators are the last stage inside an oil lubricated vacuum pump before the air is discharged, and their job is to coalesce the suspended oil droplets so the oil drains back rather than leaving with the exhaust.
