The brass inverted flare adapter connects an inverted flare tube line to a male NPT (MNPT) pipe thread, making a clean transition between tubing and threaded ports. Machined from solid brass for corrosion resistance and long service life, it uses the SAE inverted flare's internal seat so the sealing surface — and the threads — stay protected, giving excellent resistance to vibration and leaks.
Key specifications
- Solid brass construction, corrosion resistant
- Connection: inverted flare (tube side) × male NPT (MNPT)
- Internal (inverted) flare seat protects threads and resists vibration
- Available in 20 size combinations, from 1/8" to 1" inverted flare and 1/8" to 1" MNPT
- Suited to air, fuel, LP/natural gas, brake and fluid lines
Typical applications
Used throughout compressed-air systems, automotive brake and fuel lines, propane and natural gas connections, transmission cooler lines, and general pneumatic and hydraulic plumbing wherever an inverted flare tube fitting must join a threaded pipe port.
Choose the exact inverted flare × male NPT size you need from the drop-down. Each solid brass inverted flare adapter is built for a leak-tight, vibration-resistant seal in air, fuel, and gas line service.
