The Midland Brass Hose Barb Rigid Male BSPT Adapter connects a push-on or clamped air, water, coolant, or low-pressure fluid hose to a male BSPT (British Standard Pipe Taper) threaded port in a single, one-piece fitting. Machined from solid CA360 brass for corrosion resistance and long service life, the barbed stem grips the inside of the hose while the tapered BSPT thread seals into the mating port.

Applications
Ideal for compressed-air lines, pneumatic tools, coolant and washdown lines, low-pressure fuel and fluid transfer, and any BSPT-threaded system common in imported and international equipment. The rigid (non-swivel) body provides a solid, permanent hose-to-pipe connection.
Installation
Cut the hose cleanly and squarely to length, slide the clamp onto the hose, lightly lubricate, and push the hose onto the barb until it bottoms against the hex. Position the clamp behind the barbs and tighten to secure.
