This brass male-NPT hose barb connects a push-on air or fluid hose to any female NPT port, and its hex-swivel body lets the barb rotate freely so the hose can be routed without twisting or kinking as you tighten. A machined wrench-flat hex makes for a clean, leak-resistant install, and solid brass construction resists corrosion for long service on compressed-air, water, and general fluid-transfer lines.
Key specifications
- Connection: male NPT (MNPT) threaded end × push-on hose barb tail
- Swivel design: barb rotates on the threaded body to relieve hose twist
- Hex body for wrench tightening
- Material: solid brass — corrosion-resistant, durable
- Available sizes: 1/4" Barb × 1/4" MNPT, 3/8" Barb × 3/8" MNPT, and 3/8" Barb × 1/4" MNPT
Typical applications
Ideal for connecting rubber or PVC air and water hose to compressors, air tools, blow guns, pumps, and shop plumbing, as well as low-to-medium-pressure fluid-transfer lines wherever a swiveling, twist-free hose connection is needed.
A dependable brass male-NPT hex-swivel hose barb for compressed air and fluid systems, offered in 1/4" and 3/8" barb sizes with 1/4" and 3/8" male NPT threads to fit the most common shop connections.
