Brass Compression Ferrule (Sleeve) — Compression Tube Fitting
The brass compression ferrule (also called a sleeve) is the sealing ring at the heart of every compression tube fitting. Slid over the tube and seated between the fitting body and compression nut, it deforms slightly as the nut is tightened to form a tight, reliable, gripping seal — no soldering, flaring, or special tools required. Machined from solid brass for corrosion resistance and long service life.

Typical applications

Note: brass compression sleeves are not recommended for steel tubing or gaseous media, and contain lead — they are not permitted for potable (drinking) water installations in the U.S.
