This equivalent element replaces Bottarini 223066 in its compressed air coalescing filter. The media captures the fine oil mist that survives the compressor's own separation stage, coalescing it into drops the housing can drain.
It is worth being clear about what this part is not. A coalescing filter is a polishing stage downstream of the compressor. It is not a substitute for the air/oil separator inside the machine, and when a coalescer loads up unusually fast, a tired separator upstream is usually the reason.
