BEKO Coalescing Element FE851XA
An equivalent replacement for the BEKO FE851XA coalescing element. Air entering the housing passes through the media bed, where fine oil aerosol and water mist are intercepted and joined into larger droplets that drain to the bowl instead of travelling on down the header.
XA denotes a particular media build, not a capacity. The 851 body is also offered in AC and X1 builds that drop into the same housing but do not behave the same way, so match the code on the cartridge you are replacing. If you are rebuilding a filter train from scratch, our coalescing air filters show the complete housings these elements go into.
Oil that slips past this stage does not simply disappear. It collects in the piping, in condensate, and in downstream equipment, which is why plants that run oil-lubricated compressors also budget for air oil separators and treat filtration and separation as one system rather than two unrelated line items.
