BEKO Coalescing Element FE851X1
This equivalent replacement cartridge fits BEKO compressed air filter housings built for the FE851X1 element. Coalescing media does the work that a simple particulate screen cannot: it intercepts the sub-micron oil and water aerosol suspended in the air stream and merges it into drops that separate out under gravity.
The X1 code identifies the media build. It is not a size, and it is not interchangeable with the AC or XA versions of the same 851 body, so the safest practice is to read the entire code off the old element before ordering a replacement. You can cross-check the family against our other coalescing filters and elements.
Plan on a scheduled change rather than waiting for a visible problem. A coalescing element that has loaded up costs energy in added pressure drop long before anything shows at the point of use, and the same is true of the housings and stages around it in our range of compressed air filters.
