BEKO Coalescing Element FE831AC
An equivalent replacement coalescing element sized for BEKO compressed air filter housings that take the FE831AC cartridge. Coalescing media catches the fine oil aerosols and water mist that pass straight through a coarse strainer, merging them into drops heavy enough to fall into the bowl and drain away, so the air leaving the housing is measurably cleaner than the air entering it.
The letters at the end of a BEKO part number identify the media build, not the size. FE831AC, FE831X1 and FE831XA share the same 831 body but are built to different grades and are not interchangeable. Match the code printed on the cartridge you are pulling out rather than choosing by dimension, and compare it against the rest of our coalescing filters and elements if you are unsure which build your housing uses.
Coalescing elements gradually load with captured liquid and solids and begin to restrict flow, so most shops replace them on a set interval and watch differential pressure in between. Keeping this stage fresh also protects the equipment downstream of it, including refrigerated air dryers and the tools and machines they feed.
