Equivalent Becker intake air element replacing part 840 403 15 000 on Gebr. Becker rotary vane vacuum pumps. It mounts in the pump inlet and screens incoming dust and fiber out of the air stream ahead of the rotor.
Vane pumps are forgiving about a lot of things and unforgiving about inlet dirt. Abrasive particles wear the vane edges and the bore together, and the damage is cumulative and invisible until performance drops off. A loaded element also restricts flow, so vacuum falls and discharge temperature climbs. Both are cheap to prevent and expensive to repair.
Inlet housings differ across the Becker lineup, so order to the code marked on the element being replaced. See our full range of air filter elements, or the housings and assemblies in air filters.
Note: This is an equivalent part and not an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) part number. Some manufacturers require OEM parts to maintain your warranty. | Air Supply Number: 18-2075
