An equivalent replacement air/oil separator element for Becker pump part 965412, supplied for oil-flooded Becker rotary vane vacuum pumps and compressors.
The element works by coalescence. Oil leaving the pump chamber is atomized into a mist far too fine to settle on its own, and the separator media forces those droplets together until they are heavy enough to drop into the return line and go back to the reservoir. Everything the separator misses leaves the machine permanently.
