The nano BAP breathing air panels and BAC portable breathing air cases turn ordinary plant compressed air into clean, safe, breathable air that meets OSHA Grade D (US) and CSA Z180.1-13 (Canada). Both lines package a water separator, a 0.01 micron coalescing filter with drain, and an activated carbon adsorber into a single ready-to-use assembly, reducing moisture, oil aerosols, odors and taste down to 0.003 ppm. Every unit ships with an integrated CO monitor as standard. Choose the BAP wall panel when you need a permanent breathing air station at 50, 100 or 175 SCFM, or the BAC portable case when the work moves and you need a rugged, water-resistant unit at 50 or 100 SCFM.
How to select the right BAP or BAC
- Pick the form factor. BAP is a wall, skid or frame mounted panel for a fixed breathing air station. BAC is a compact, water-resistant carry case for crews that move between job sites.
- Size the flow. Add up the demand of every respirator or supplied-air hood on the system, then choose 50, 100 or 175 SCFM at 100 psig. BAC is available at 50 and 100 SCFM only.
- Choose the outlet connection. N gives you 3/8 inch NPT (F) outlets, H gives you 1/4 inch Hansen quick-connect couplers, and S gives you 1/4 inch Schrader quick-connect couplers. Match whatever coupler your existing airline respirators already use.
- Confirm the inlet air. These are purification packages, not compressors. Feed them clean, dry compressed air between 15 and 150 psig at 35 to 86 degrees F. If your compressor can produce carbon monoxide, plan for a monitored and alarmed source, which is exactly what the integrated CO monitor provides.
- Add a remote alarm if operators work away from the unit. The BAP-RA (120 VAC, conduit box, audible and strobe) and BAC-RA (9 to 12 VDC, 50 ft cable, 95 dBA audible) accessories are available for the panel and case respectively.

- Integrated CO monitor included as standard on every model, battery operated on the BAC case
- All-in-one purification train: water separator, 0.01 micron coalescing filter with drain, activated carbon adsorber
- Removes moisture, oil aerosols, odors and taste to 0.003 ppm
- Four outlet connections standard so several operators can work off one unit (the 2026 price book lists six outlets on the BAP 175)
- BAP mounts to a wall, skid or any fixed location that needs breathing air on a regular basis
- BAC is built into a portable, compact, water-resistant case for go-anywhere use
- Three outlet styles per model: NPT, Hansen or Schrader couplers

Frequently asked questions
Does a BAP or BAC make my compressed air OSHA Grade D on its own?
It is the purification and monitoring stage that gets you there, and it is the piece OSHA 1910.134(i) requires you to have. You still need a suitable air source and dry, oil-controlled inlet air. If your compressor is oil-lubricated or your dewpoint is marginal, add upstream drying and filtration. For heavier contamination or CO2 removal, look at the nano NBA modular breathing air systems or a BHD twin tower breathing air dryer.
What is the difference between the N, H and S versions?
Only the outlet couplers. N is 3/8 inch NPT (F) threaded outlets, H is 1/4 inch Hansen quick-connect, S is 1/4 inch Schrader quick-connect. Pick the one that matches the fittings already on your respirator hoses so you do not need adapters.
Should I buy the panel or the case?
Buy the BAP panel if the breathing air station stays in one place, such as a paint booth or a permanent blast bay. Buy the BAC case if the work travels, since it is compact, water-resistant and built to be carried to the job.
How many operators can one unit support?
Each unit has four outlets as standard, but the real limit is flow. Add up the rated consumption of each respirator or hood and stay within the 50, 100 or 175 SCFM rating of the model you choose.
Is the CO monitor really included?
Yes. Every BAP and BAC ships with an integrated CO monitor as standard, battery operated on the BAC case. Optional remote alarms (BAP-RA and BAC-RA) let you place an audible or strobe alert away from the unit.
