Baldor-Reliance EM2531T 25 HP Three-Phase Open Drip-Proof Motor, 284T Frame, NEMA Premium
The Baldor-Reliance EM2531T is a 25 HP three-phase open drip-proof motor on a 284T rigid-base frame, rated 93.6 percent NEMA Premium efficiency. Both the standard 230/460V winding and the 200V winding (EM2531T-8) share the 284T frame, the 1-7/8 in. shaft and the same bearing set, so either drops into the same mounting and coupling.
Please note: Baldor lists this motor under its General Purpose product family. It is not a manufacturer-designated compressor-duty motor. It suits compressor, pump, fan and general industrial service within its 1.15 service factor.

Differences between the two windings
These are not simply the same motor rewound. The 230/460V EM2531T is dual rated for 60 Hz and 50 Hz operation, carrying a 50 Hz rating of 20 HP at 1475 RPM on 190/380-415V, and it holds CE and WEEE approvals plus an IP 23 nameplate rating. The 200V EM2531T-8 is 60 Hz only and does not carry those international approvals. Baldor also lists the 200V unit as part-winding start with six 6 AWG leads in its specification table while its performance data lists the same motor as DOL; confirm against the nameplate if your starter selection depends on it.
One data caution worth stating plainly: Baldor's high-voltage full load amp field for the EM2531T returns 29 A, but that is the 380V 50 Hz figure. At 460V and 60 Hz the nameplate amps are 30 A, which is the value published above.
Typical applications
Reciprocating and rotary screw air compressors, centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, blowers and fans, conveyors and general industrial drives in clean, dry indoor environments. An open drip-proof enclosure is not suitable for wet, dusty or washdown locations; specify a TEFC motor for those.
