With 1,190 gpm of throughput at heads reaching 168 ft, a 4" ANSI flanged discharge, and the engineering DNA that's made the WEDA name standard issue at mines and quarries worldwide, the L95N is built for one job — moving abrasive, solids-laden water in conditions that destroy other pumps.
The Slurry Difference
Slurry pumps are not sludge pumps with bigger motors. The L-series uses a fundamentally different hydraulic design — semi-open multi-vane impeller, urethane-armored wear surfaces in the volute, and a hardened wear plate that's designed to be replaced as a wear part. Where a sludge pump prioritizes solids passage (open vortex geometry, 2" particles), the slurry L-series prioritizes survival under abrasion — pumping silica-laden water, dredging spoils, mineral process slurry, and quarry runoff for thousands of hours between rebuilds.
