AirComParts Threaded Oil Sight Glass, 1/2 in. to 2 in. NPT, Air Compressor Oil Level Gauge
A threaded oil sight glass lets you read the oil level in a compressor sump or gearcase at a glance, without pulling a plug or shutting the machine down. These are the AirComParts threaded oil sights, offered in six NPT sizes from 1/2 in. up to 2 in. so you can match whatever port the original builder used. Pick the thread size, screw it in, and you have a permanent visual level check.
Available sizes
- 1/2 in. NPT (P0005)
- 3/4 in. NPT (P0010)
- 1 in. NPT (P0011)
- 1-1/4 in. NPT (P0012)
- 1-1/2 in. NPT (P0013)
- 2 in. NPT (P0014)
How to choose
Measure the existing sight glass or the tapped port in the crankcase, not the glass diameter. The size listed is the male NPT thread. If you are replacing a broken sight on a rotary screw separator tank or an oil reservoir, match the thread first and the viewing window follows.
Typical applications
Rotary screw compressor oil separator tanks and reservoirs, reciprocating compressor crankcases, vacuum pump sumps, gearboxes, hydraulic reservoirs, and any oil-filled housing where someone needs to confirm the level on a walk-by inspection.
AirComParts threaded oil sight glasses in 1/2, 3/4, 1, 1-1/4, 1-1/2 and 2 in. NPT give you a direct replacement oil level gauge for air compressors, pumps and reservoirs. Order by thread size.
