AirComParts Pet Cock Tank Drain Valve, 1/8 in., 1/4 in. and 3/8 in. NPT
The pet cock is the small hand valve in the bottom of an air receiver that you open at the end of the day to let the water out. It is the cheapest part on the machine and the one that decides whether the tank lasts fifteen years or rusts through from the inside. When the old one seizes, weeps, or snaps off at the threads, this is the replacement.

How to choose
Order by the NPT size of the drain tapping in your tank. If you are not sure, bleed the tank to zero, back the old valve out and measure the thread, because tank bungs vary by manufacturer and by tank size. Larger tanks and anything carrying a lot of condensate benefit from the bigger port, which clears sludge faster and is less prone to plugging.
Service notes
Drain the tank with 10 to 20 PSI still in it so the air pushes the water out rather than leaving it to seep. Bleed the tank fully before unthreading a drain valve. Use thread sealant rated for compressed air and leave the handle where you can reach it, because a drain you have to crawl for is a drain that does not get used. If daily draining is not happening, an automatic or timer drain is worth the upgrade.
