The Air System Products float and trigger assembly (RD11-FA1) is an internal replacement part for a no-loss style condensate drain. The float rises with the level of collected condensate and trips the trigger mechanism, which opens the drain to expel the water without letting compressed air escape along with it.
Over time the float and trigger components wear or foul with oil and sludge, which can cause a drain to stick open or fail to discharge. Fitting a fresh assembly restores clean, automatic condensate removal and keeps moisture out of your air system.
