This interceptor element is offered as an equivalent for Air Compressor Sales part Y1810. As a coarse pre-filtration stage in the compressed air line, it strips out bulk liquid and larger particulate before the air reaches finer stages, reducing the load on the elements downstream.
Use it ahead of our finer coalescing filter elements and the housings in our range of coalescing air filters. Keeping the interceptor in good order helps the coalescing elements last longer and hold pressure drop low.
