Typical applications
Paint and finishing work, powder coating, plasma cutting, pneumatic controls, and any shop where moisture in the air line shows up as defects in the finished part. Drying the air at the compressor keeps condensate out of the distribution piping rather than leaving it for traps and filters further downstream to catch.
Part of the ABAC AS screw range from the Atlas Copco group. The 150 PSI build trades some air delivery for higher pressure: the same package set up for 125 PSI carries 52.1 CFM. Against the same machine without the dryer, the TMD package costs more up front but removes the sizing, siting and installation work of a separate dryer. The 131 gallon receiver gives the compressor room to ride out short bursts of high demand.
