Three 2.0 HP oil free pumps on one 20 gallon tank deliver 14.6 CFM at 90 PSI at 78 dB, which is enough for an HVLP gun, a DA sander run with pauses, a blast cabinet in short bursts, or two people running nailers and impacts at once. Power and install

This unit runs on 220 V single phase and draws 24 A total across the three motors, so plan on a dedicated 240 V circuit sized for that load and have an electrician fit the receptacle; it is not a 120 V plug in machine. At 178 pounds it moves on its wheels but should live in one spot. Give the pumps a foot of clearance on the intake side and keep it out of direct spray overspray. The pumps are rated at 125 PSI maximum and the tank fills in about 70 seconds.

What to pair it with

Oil free air is clean, but it is still wet. For paint, add the CAT RD-91503 refrigerated dryer or any refrigerated dryer rated at 15 CFM or more, followed by a coalescing filter and a regulator at the gun. Run 3/8 inch hose or hard pipe to the drops to avoid pressure loss at this flow.
