This 175 CFM towable was built for crews that bounce between job types in a single week. Most crews run two 3/4 inch tools at once, for example two 60 lb breakers, or a breaker and an impact wrench. Typical applications:

The RedRock™ polyethylene canopy with three-layer painted metal parts is rated to outlast traditional steel hoods in coastal, mining, and roadside environments. Heavy-duty two-stage air and fuel filters extend service intervals, and the synthetic-based compressor oil is engineered for a 1,000-hour or 2-year service interval, whichever comes first.

The CP XC1004 controller comes standard with a disconnect switch, operational monitoring, real-time diagnostics, and safety warnings/shutdowns for high engine temperature, low fuel, and other fault conditions. That means fewer surprise breakdowns and easier troubleshooting for crews that don't have a dedicated mechanic on the truck.

CPS 175-100 vs. CPS 185-100, which one do I need?

Both compressors share the same CP design DNA and serviceability features, but the 175-100 is the lighter, more nimble choice for crews that mostly run one or two pneumatic tools and want easier towing behind a half-ton truck. The CPS 185-100 KoD steps up to 180 CFM with a larger 27-gallon fuel tank and a Kohler KDI 1903 engine, better suited to crews needing 11+ hours of full-load runtime or heavier blasting duty.
