The V2051 minimum pressure check valve maintains a minimum internal pressure in the air and oil separator tank of a rotary screw air compressor. That backpressure keeps oil circulating properly during start-up and light load, while the built-in check function stops compressed air from flowing back into the airend when the compressor stops.
A worn or stuck minimum pressure valve can cause slow oil separation, pressure that will not build, or air blowing back at shutdown. Replacing it restores correct sequencing and protects the airend.
