Prevost Hose Reel Oxygen Swivel Joint - DMG 0242
This is the rotating union at the hub of a Prevost oxygen hose reel, built specifically for oxygen service. It carries gas from the fixed inlet into the spinning drum while the reel pays out and rewinds, and it is threaded and sealed to the oxygen standard rather than to ordinary compressed air spec.
Replace it when the reel leaks at the hub or the swivel has become stiff or notchy in rotation. Fit only the oxygen version on an oxygen line; the DMG 0243 acetylene joint is the matching part for the fuel gas side of a cutting set.
