Prevost Hose Reel Left Body Side - DMG 0042
This is the left-hand structural side panel of a Prevost hose reel. Together with the right body side and the tie rods, it forms the frame that carries the drum, keeps the two halves correctly spaced, and takes the load every time the hose is pulled out at an angle.
A dropped reel, a hard knock from a fork truck, or years of being yanked sideways can crack or bend a side panel, and a bent side will bind the drum and chew the hose. Replacing the panel is considerably cheaper than replacing the reel. Fit the DMG 0042I stainless version instead if the reel lives in a washdown or outdoor environment.
