Float drain valve 3152270 automatically removes accumulated condensate from an air compressor tank, receiver, or filter bowl. A float inside the body rises with the collected liquid and opens the discharge port, then reseats once the liquid is gone, so the valve passes water without venting compressed air.
That mechanical, demand-based action is the advantage of a float drain over a timed solenoid: it drains only when there is something to drain, so you never trade compressed air for dry lines.
