The LZB78 is the largest frame in Atlas Copco's LZB vane motor range and carries the same zero-clearance vane design in a long, slim hardened steel and aluminium housing, so the extra output arrives without a wider envelope. Speed is infinitely variable by adjusting inlet pressure or flow, without mechanical governors or electronic drives, and the linear torque-speed curve makes control predictable and repeatable across the working range.

Air consumption at maximum output is 56 l/s (116 cfm). External parts are hardened steel and aluminium. Inlet hose size 0.6 in.
