The Atlas Copco LZL05-L-P-AC is a lubrication-free LZL05 direct-drive vane air motor with a 9,000 RPM free speed, delivering 1.3 kW (1.7 hp) and 2.9 Nm (2.1 ft-lb) at its 4,300 RPM max-output point. Fully reversible, standard keyed shaft, 3.90 kg (8.6 lb).

The LZL is Atlas Copco’s direct-drive vane motor line, built to hold torque at low speed in harsh plant conditions, with lubrication-free vanes that keep oil out of the process and extend motor life. There is no gear train between the vane cell and the output shaft, so the response to a change in inlet pressure or flow is immediate and the torque-speed curve stays linear across the working range. Atlas Copco lists a sensor fixture kit and a speed control kit for the LZL05, so it can be fitted for real-time speed monitoring and closed-loop control without an external transducer.

Air consumption at maximum output is 37 l/s (78 cfm). External parts are powder coated cast iron and aluminium. Inlet hose size 0.5 in (13 mm), outlet 1 in (20 mm).
