The ABAC AS-30253TMD is a complete 30 HP compressed air station on one skid: a rotary screw air end, a 131 gallon air receiver and an integrated refrigerated dryer, mounted, wired and plumbed together at the factory. It delivers 114.1 CFM at a 125 PSI maximum and runs at 70 dBA. There is no separate tank or dryer to size, site and pipe, so installation comes down to setting it in place, landing one electrical connection and connecting your air line. Assembled it measures 75 x 31 x 72 in and weighs 1365 lbs. Power is 208-230-460V three-phase.

Why 125 PSI, and what it buys you
Pressure and flow trade against each other on the same air end. At 125 PSI this machine gives 114.1 CFM; the 150 PSI build of the identical package gives 103.1 CFM. That is 11 CFM of airflow recovered by not asking for the extra 25 PSI, and you keep it in energy every hour the compressor runs. If every drop in the shop is regulated down to 90 or 100 PSI anyway, 125 PSI is the right buy and the cheaper one to own. Step up to 150 PSI only when something real needs it: press and clamp circuits, higher pressure tooling, or a long distribution run where line loss eats into delivered pressure before the air reaches the tool.
What the tank and dryer package changes
Every rotary screw sends warm, saturated air downstream, and that water is what rusts piping, freezes air logic, pits tooling and ruins a paint finish. Solving it piecemeal means sizing a receiver, buying a dryer, finding floor space for both, then wiring and plumbing them to the compressor. On the TMD build all three arrive as one matched assembly: the receiver sits under the compressor, the dryer is mounted and wired with it, and the footprint stays 75 x 31 in rather than three separate machines spread along a wall. The cost is height and weight, 72 in tall and 1365 lbs, so check door clearance and floor loading before delivery. If a filter stack and an oil water separator are also going in, plan their wall space when you lay the machine out.
Why a screw instead of another piston
A piston compressor builds air in bursts and needs time to cool between them. A rotary screw is rated for continuous duty, so it holds a flat line pressure through a full shift instead of sagging and recovering between jobs. At 30 HP that difference is the whole point: this is a machine for a plant drawing air most of the day, not one that tops up a receiver now and then. A screw dislikes short cycling, which is part of why the matched receiver matters, and it wants a demand pattern that keeps it loaded.
How it compares
At 114.1 CFM this is the highest flow in the AS-B tank mount range, the machine a plant steps up to when added bays, a blast cabinet or a continuous process leave a smaller compressor running loaded almost all the time. The AS-30503TMD is the same package set for 150 PSI, trading flow for pressure at 103.1 CFM in an identical cabinet at the same 1365 lbs. If you already own a correctly sized receiver, the AS-30253BMD is the same 114.1 CFM air end and dryer without the tank, at 867 lbs and 55 x 31 x 49 in, and the AS-30253BM drops the dryer as well at 759 lbs and 44 x 31 x 49 in. One step down on horsepower, the AS-25253TMD gives 98.9 CFM at a quieter 69 dBA and 1330 lbs in the same 75 x 31 x 72 in footprint. If 114.1 CFM is already close to your measured demand, buy the headroom here rather than running a 25 HP machine loaded continuously.
Typical applications
Production and fabrication floors, machine shops running several CNC cells, automotive and fleet service bays, tire and truck shops, plasma tables, packaging lines, sandblasting, and spray finishing or powder coating where moisture in the line spoils tools, air logic or finish quality. At 114.1 CFM it will carry a bank of air ratchets and sanders, a continuous blow off, a blast cabinet, or several cells drawing at once through a full shift. Drying the air at the compressor keeps condensate out of the distribution piping instead of leaving it for traps and filters downstream to catch.
What to pair it with
Give the cabinet clear air on the cooling side, keep the room out of the heat, and run the unit on its own circuit sized to the motor nameplate; at 30 HP the electrical install is worth planning before the machine arrives. Oil, oil filter and separator element are the service items. Behind the dryer, a coalescing filter protects paint and instrument air, and a condensate drain plus an oil water separator keeps the water the dryer pulls out of your floor and out of the drain line.
