The ABAC AS-10253TMD7 is the 125 PSI, 71 gallon build of the 10 HP machine in the AS-B screw range, and it arrives as a complete air station: compressor, receiver and refrigerated dryer mounted and plumbed as one unit. It delivers 36.4 CFM and runs at 69 dBA, quiet enough to sit in the work area instead of a separate compressor room. At 653 lbs on a 60 x 27 in footprint it is the compact receiver option in the 10 HP family, the one to specify when floor space is tight but the air still has to be dry. Power is 208-230-460V three-phase.

Why a screw instead of another piston
A piston compressor builds air in bursts and needs time to cool between them. A rotary screw is rated for continuous duty, so it holds a flat line pressure through a full shift instead of sagging and recovering between jobs. That is why shops running air most of the day move off a reciprocating machine that is cycling hard, running hot and filling the room with noise. The AS-B air end is designed to limit air loss, and ABAC pairs it with an energy efficient motor and a digital controller, so operating menus and service intervals sit on the panel rather than on a clipboard. The trade is that a screw dislikes short cycling, which is exactly what the 71 gallon receiver underneath it is there to prevent.
Why the dryer is integrated
Air leaving any compressor is warm and saturated, and it drops that water out in the pipe run where it reaches tools, cylinders and finishes. Buying the dryer already mounted and plumbed removes a separate purchase, a separate footprint and the fittings between the two. It also means the dryer is correctly sized to this machine's 36.4 CFM from the start, which is the step most often got wrong when a dryer is added later. If you prefer to keep the dryer separate, pair the plain tank mount with a standalone unit from our refrigerated air dryers.
How it compares
Across the AS-B range pressure, airflow, receiver size and dryer all move independently. The AS-10253TM7 is the same 71 gallon package without the dryer, 86 lbs lighter at 567 lbs and 4 in narrower. The AS-10503TMD7 is this identical 653 lb machine set for 150 PSI, trading airflow down to 34.1 CFM for the extra pressure. If demand is intermittent and you want the pump to rest longer between loads, the AS-10253TMD carries the same 36.4 CFM and dryer on a larger receiver. If you already own a tank and a dryer, the AS-10253BM is the bare 419 lb base mount at the same pressure. Stepping down, the AS-7.5251TMD7 gives 30.5 CFM at 67 dBA on the same 71 gallon tank. If noise is the deciding factor, the AS-10S253TMD is the quieter 10 HP air end at 65 dBA and 39.8 CFM. Buy pressure only to the level your highest tool actually needs, because every step up costs airflow.
Typical applications
Paint and finishing work, production and fabrication floors, larger automotive and fleet service bays, tire and truck shops, plasma and laser tables, and cabinet and woodworking shops where moisture in the air line causes rejects or tool wear. The integrated dryer removes water before it reaches the distribution piping, which matters anywhere air touches a finish, a pneumatic control or a precision tool. Allow clearance on the cooling air side, keep the room between roughly 40 and 104 F, and run the machine on its own circuit sized to the motor nameplate.
CFM measured per ISO 1217 Annex C, quoted at 109 PSI for 125 PSI maximum units. Noise measured per ISO 2151:2004 using ISO 9614/2.
