Cast Iron A-Section (4L) 1-Groove V-Belt Sheave — Takes H Bushing
A single-groove cast iron V-belt sheave for A-section (also called 4L) belts with a 1/2" top width. Built as a two-piece bushed sheave, it uses an H-style bushing (sold separately) that slides over the shaft and clamps down as the bushing bolts are tightened — giving a secure, concentric fit on a range of shaft sizes without machining. Available in 29 outer diameters from 3.05" up to 14.25".
Key specifications
- Belt section: A / 4L (1/2" top width), also runs AK / 3L / 4LK
- Grooves: 1 (single groove)
- Material: fine-grained cast iron, statically balanced
- Bushing: takes an H-style bushing (required, sold separately)
- Finish: painted, individually packaged
- Outer diameter: 3.05" – 14.25" depending on size selected
Typical applications
Used throughout air compressors, blowers, fans, pumps, conveyors, and general power-transmission drives wherever a single A/4L V-belt transmits power between a motor and driven equipment. The H-bushing design lets one sheave fit multiple shaft diameters, making it a flexible replacement or new-build choice.
Cast iron construction and static balancing keep the drive running smoothly at speed, while the interchangeable H bushing simplifies installation and future shaft changes. Select your required outer diameter above.
