Pioneer Air Systems 3 Micron Interceptor EPS425
A replacement 3 micron interceptor element built to interchange with the Pioneer Air Systems EPS425. Fitment follows the original element, so the existing housing needs no modification.
The 3 micron figure refers to the particle size the media is built to capture, not a physical dimension, so replacements are matched by part number. As a particulate stage the element removes the solid material a compressed air system carries: rust, pipe scale, desiccant dust and general line debris. Placed upstream of finer filtration it takes the bulk of the loading, and placed near a machine it keeps abrasive material out of seals and small orifices.
Plan on replacing it on a set schedule. Particulate media fills rather than wears out, and a loaded element costs pressure long before it costs air quality. Compare ratings under particulate removal filters, or see the wider range of compressed air filters.
Note: This is an equivalent part and not an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) part number. Some manufacturers require OEM parts to maintain your warranty. | Air Supply Number: FMFEPS425C
