Pioneer Air Systems 3 Micron Interceptor EPS2600
A replacement 3 micron interceptor element made to interchange with the Pioneer Air Systems EPS2600. It follows the original fitment, so the housing and hardware already on the line stay in place.
This is a solids removal stage in a compressed air filter train. The media holds back rust, pipe scale, desiccant dust and the assorted debris that any air system carries, keeping it out of the finer filtration behind it and out of the equipment at the end of the line. Protecting a coalescing element this way is usually what determines whether it lasts its full interval or blinds off early.
