Pioneer Air Systems 3 Micron Interceptor EPS1300
A replacement 3 micron interceptor element built to interchange with the Pioneer Air Systems EPS1300. Fitment follows the original element, so nothing about the existing housing needs to change.
The micron rating describes what the media is built to capture, not any physical dimension of the element, so replacements are matched by part number rather than by size alone. As a particulate stage the element takes rust, pipe scale, desiccant dust and general line debris out of the air before it can reach anything that minds. Upstream of finer filtration it absorbs the bulk of the loading; near the machine it keeps abrasive material out of seals and small orifices.
Plan on replacing it on a set maintenance interval. A loaded particulate element costs pressure steadily, and that pressure is more expensive than the element. Other ratings are grouped in particulate removal filters, with the wider selection of compressed air filters nearby.
