This is an equivalent 3 micron interceptor element built to replace the Pioneer Air Systems A7-00010-61600.
An interceptor element is a micron rated particulate filter element. It traps the rust, pipe scale, desiccant dust and other solids carried along an air line, keeping them out of the tools, valves and instruments downstream. The 3 micron figure describes the particle size the media is built to capture rather than any physical dimension, so match the original part number when you order a replacement.
