This is an equivalent mist eliminator element built to replace Performance Filtration 5860.
A mist eliminator pulls entrained liquid droplets out of a flowing gas stream by coalescing them into drops large enough to fall out and drain. It is the part of a filtration package that protects downstream equipment from liquid carryover, and its performance depends on both the media build and a clear drain path.
Replace the element at the interval the system was set up around and match the original part number when you do. We carry a range of mist eliminator elements along with many other replacement filter elements.
