This 3 micron interceptor element is offered as an equivalent replacement for Numatics/Delta Series part number EKF9016G-B, supplied under Air Supply Number FDS9016QE-BPB. It is the service cartridge that drops into the matching Numatics filter housing.
An interceptor element sits in the air line to capture liquid water, oil aerosol and solid particulate before that contamination reaches valves, cylinders and instruments. Elements are consumable by design: as the media loads, pressure drop rises and eventually contaminant begins to slip through, so most systems are on a scheduled change rather than a run-to-failure approach.
