Hot Gas Bypass Valve (TUH, Orifice 9)
This hot gas bypass valve is an OEM-style refrigeration service part for cycling and non-cycling refrigerated air dryers. Part number 2202732402, it uses the TUH valve body with an orifice size 9 and installs in the dryer's refrigerant circuit.
The valve regulates the flow of hot refrigerant gas into the evaporator to hold a stable dew point and, just as important, to keep the evaporator from dropping below freezing at light air loads. That freeze protection is what lets a refrigerated dryer run continuously without icing up and blocking airflow.
