This head-to-plate gasket is 0.062 inch thick and seals the joint between the cylinder head and the valve plate on a reciprocating compressor pump. It separates the high pressure discharge from the intake side, so a sound head gasket is critical to full output.
A failed head gasket causes lost pressure and overheating. Shop more compressor gaskets, or replace the whole set with a gasket and service kit.
