This is a head/plate gasket measuring 0.062 inch thick, used to seal the joint between the head, valve plate, and cylinder of a reciprocating compressor pump. This is one of the most important seals on the pump, since it separates the high pressure discharge from the intake side.
A failed head gasket causes lost pressure and overheating. Shop more compressor gaskets, or replace the full set with a gasket and service kit.
