A GR 6 coalescing filter element replacing Donaldson / Ultrafilter part number 1C486161. It suits the mid range housings in the FDF series and is supplied without a housing.
GR 6 identifies the media grade only. Two elements can share a grade and still not fit the same body, so the part number is the deciding detail. Check it against the cartridge you are pulling out.
Aerosol removal at this stage protects everything downstream, from air tools to instruments. Bulk oil coming off a lubricated compressor is a separate matter, dealt with by an air oil separator at the machine.
