Donaldson / Ultrafilter GR 6 Coalescing Element 1C486081
A GR 6 grade coalescing element replacing Donaldson / Ultrafilter part number 1C486081. It is an element only, intended to refit a housing already in place.
GR 6 is a media grade and sits alongside GR 4 and GR 8 in the same physical range. Grades are not interchangeable even when the element body fits, so match the grade as well as the part number when you order.
The point of a coalescing stage is to take out liquid aerosols that pass straight through coarser media. Run it downstream of the compressor and ahead of the point of use, and keep the drying stage working too; our air dryers handle that part.
