A replacement 25 micron interceptor element crossing to Donaldson / Ultrafilter part number 1C486064. Interceptors are the coarse first stage in a filtration train, catching pipe scale, rust and bulk debris before it reaches finer media downstream.
Because it works at 25 micron, this element is not a substitute for a fine coalescing element. It is there to take the heavy load off that stage so the finer element lasts its full service interval instead of blinding early.
Fit it to the housing it was built for and replace it whenever pressure drop across the filter starts to rise. Order to the part number on the cartridge, since housings in the same series accept different element lengths. Complete assemblies are listed under compressed air filters.
