A replacement air/oil separator crossed to Chicopee Engineering part number CEA67, supplied under Air Supply Number KV180-018. It gives maintenance teams an equivalent service element without going back through the original dealer network.
Separator elements are the reason a lubricated screw compressor can run oil-flooded and still deliver reasonably clean air. The coalescing media captures oil aerosol from the discharge stream and returns it to the sump, so the same charge of oil keeps circulating instead of leaving with the air. Replace the separator with fresh oil and a new oil filter, and compare element height, diameter and gasket arrangement to the part you removed before fitting. Machines and matching service parts are collected under rotary screw air compressors.
