Separator elements handle the last step of oil recovery inside a lubricated rotary screw compressor. Air leaving the airend is still full of fine oil mist, and the coalescing media gathers that mist into droplets that drain back to the sump. When the media loads up, differential pressure across the separator climbs and oil begins to escape into the plant air system. Compare part numbers across our full air/oil separator catalog.
