Prevost 1 inch garage kit: 78 feet of aluminum air pipe with the fittings for a two bay shop
The garage kit is the easiest way to buy a Prevost system for a home shop, a two or three bay auto repair shop or a small fabrication shop. It bundles 78 feet of 1 inch aluminum pipe with the compression fittings to build a main run, the brackets to hang it, wall manifolds at the drops, and the quick couplers at each drop. 1 inch pipe carries up to about 70 CFM, which covers any compressor up to 15 HP, so the kit will not become the bottleneck when you upgrade the compressor.
Choosing the coupler profile
Pick the coupler profile to match the plugs already on your tools: Industrial (Milton M style, the most common in US shops), Automotive (Tru-Flate T style) or High Flow (the larger bore V style for impact guns and sanders). The Prevost couplers in the kit are safety couplers that vent the hose before it releases, so there is no whipping hose when you disconnect. Standard kit or kit with accessories
The standard kit is pipe, fittings, brackets, manifolds and couplers. The kit with accessories adds Prevost's expansion accessories for a larger or more complex layout; ask us for the current contents list before you order. You will also want one chamfering tool for cutting pipe to length, and a cyclonic water separator with float drain on the main if you do not run a dryer. Kits are assembled to order and ship in about a week. For a shop larger than two or three bays, or for 1.25 inch and up, send a sketch to the piping plan request page and we will quote a custom bill of materials from the Prevost range.
Garage kits are built after the order is placed (about a week).
